Sportsland Broomball This coming Sunday, September 29th, sees the start of another season for the Port Perry Broomball Association. The three games start at the usual time of 4:00 p.m. and carry on until 7:00 p.m. Again this year there are six teams with one change: Brian's Towing have dropped out to join the Oshawa league but have been replaced by a new entry sponsored by B & L Donuts of Port Perry. The league has incor- porated a new rule this year to try and eliminate ties. If after regulation time the game is tied, there will be a single five minute stop time over- time period total goals If after the overtime the game is tied it shall re- main as such. Utica Farm Equip- ment will be vying for their second league championship in a row and Beacock's Hardware will be battling for their third straight represen- tation to the In- termediate Regional Playdowns.
