Conant, returning officer, there could be an increase of eligible voters from last time, 70,303 to probably 75,000 this time. 10 YEARS AGO Wednesday, September 24, 1975 Victor Malcolm, Deputy Clerk for the Township of Scugog since its incorporation as a township almost two years ago, resigned from his position. Dr. Matthew B. Dymond was coronated 33rd degree Mason of the Supreme Council of Scottish Rite in Canada. This is the highest rank in the Scot- tish Rite Freemasonary. Mr. and Mrs. Percy VanCamp celebrated their 50th annjversary with a family dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Merrill VanCamp, folloW- ed by an open house in the United Church, Blackstock. Durham Chairman, Walter Beath, presented a beautiful sterling silver tea service to Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Redman as winner in the Farm Im- provement Competition.
