Well, the draw was made Saturday, August 3rd, and Mr. Brian Black of Oshawa gets the first prize with Mr. Mike Mole of Manchester getting the second. Congratula- tions to all who sold tickets and those who purchased them, thus in- creasing the Building Fund. Thanks also to the Rebekah and Oddfellows Lodges for the use of their drum. It's wonder- ful what can be ac- complished when all groups work together. We are very proud of our Four Tunettes on the Island: Joan Aldred, Bonnie Bell, Florence Fralick and Bonnie Ball- ingall, who are so willing to share their vocal talents with the Church and the community. After the chicken barbecue, pies and food left over was left in the Church Sunday morning. The pies quickly disap- peared from the "Share the Wealth" table. This table holds surprises each week.
