Sixty-three friends and relatives attended. Brother Ed from Brockville, two sisters, Bertha and Edith from Campbellford, sister-in- law from St. Catherines, daughters Marg, Prince Albert, Doreen, Picker- ing, sons John, Port Perry, Raymond, Toron- to,and Everett, Man- chester. Other relatives and friends from Buffalo, Deep River, Oshawa, Belleville, Guelph, Orono and Prince Albert. All enjoyed a salad supper and birthday cake. A belated birthday wish is sent to Leta from her friends in Prince Albert as she spent many years in the village and made many friends when Leta and her late husband ran the little store before building the present store. Thursday evening seen a smaller turnout at the euchre as many of the -players went to Toronto to the race track for senior citizen day. On Saturday a number of parents, grand parents and children from the area attended the studio of dance and performing arts which presented "Be A Perfomer' at Eastdale Collegiate. It was a very entertaining afternoon from the smallest four year olds to the adults. You will be able to see some of these children perform at Festival Days in July. On Sunday, Rev. Tansley took the church service. The choir sang a lovely anthem. Rev. Jackson and his wife, Linda, are away a few days celebrating their 20th anniversary. Our village keeps changing with people coming and going. We bid farewell to those that are leaving and extend a welcome to those moving in.
