Mr. Robert Byers did the 2 hours on his own and from grade one to six they skipped one minute then turned the rope over to the next in line. | even saw the principal taking a turn. He wasn't as dainty as Mr. Byers but he didn't trip either! Nice going kids, hope your total was high - you deserve it. On Wednesday even- ing the UCW met in the church for their monthly meeting. The treasurer reported a good bank balance with the sale of a quilt and lunch sold at the Smith auction sale. There will be a yard sale | later in the season so please keep any salable items when you are hous- ing cleaning. The devotion was taken by Aileen Olsen and Ruby Dearborn. Their theme "Creativi- ty," and opening hymn 'How Great Thou Art.' The topic was well presented and made us stop and think of things we all take for granted "each day.
