The trip was a successful and fun one for both teachers and students On April 18-19 the grade eight classes toured Fort York and walked around the old ci- ty of York. ' Also for the students of Cartwright P.S., the grade six classes went on a three day excursion to the Durham Forest. Here they learned about e Consolation champions were Paul Crouter, Jack Monsma, the outdoor life Cartwright P.S. had its Intermediate Spring Dance which was held after school on Thurs- day. April 26th. The grade seven boys basketball team com- peted in the Annual Scugog Invitational Tournament on Satur- day. April 27th. After los- ing a close battle to Jr. Gould in the opening game, the team went on to gain victories over Thorah Central and Lake Vista.
