Chris and Debbie Bat- ten, Aaron and Richard Mathews sang two numbers and did a little skit. Chantal and Stephen Davidchuk sang two lovely duets. Florence Ashton and Bernice Gardner read two poems about spring. Jean McEntyre sang a solo and mother and. daughter Shannon and Barbara Porter sang a duet. There was a favourite hymn sing and the ladies served lunch and had a visit with those who came for the program. There was a good tur- nout at Horticulture last Wednesday night. The flower show was smaller than usual but there was . some lovely displays of daffodils, plants and ar- rangements. The best daffodil prize went to Mary Housego. He shawed beautiful slides of the gardens in all the seasons of the year also some pictures of the Keukenhof gardens and the Maduradam miniature gardens in Holland. Everyone welcomed Rev. McEntyre back last Sunday morning after his absence due to illness and we are thankful for his recovery. During the service the psalm and scripture were read by Ron Ashton and Ray Porter. Rev. McEntyre's message was "Rhythms- of a Living Faith." With his text from Psalm 74. Catherine Humphrey sang a lovely solo called "Jesus Rose of Sharon is precious to Me." Next Sunday will be Com- memoration Sunday, remembering the old church and the dedica- tion of the new church seventeen years ago.
