The volunteer will be calling at your door and please give them your support. We know that the people in Prince Albert are a group of caring people as the past months have proved, but the fight is still not over as others Cubs terrific at Kub Kar Rally Seagrave and Area News by Liz Smith During this last week, the Seagrave Cub Pack had their pack competi- tions for '"Kub Kars." The boys did a great job on their cars, and the parents did an equally great job helping. In the pack, the winners for speed were Bobby Crawford, Scott Wylie and Michael Smith; for design Jason Enzi, Evan Hilbreth and Jay Hillis; and for Boy only design Mark Jansen. These boys also participated in the District finals Sun- day afternoon. The April meeting for the Robinglade Women's group has been changed from the 11th to the 25th, at Diane Cookes at 8:00 p.m. We are still looking for a Mariposa correspon- dent for the Seagrave News. If anyone is in- terested in this '"'challenge," please call any one of the present correspondents. Play group registra- tion will be held this Wednesday, April 3, at the regular afternoon session at the Seagrave United Church. The fee for the spring term will be $24, and playgroup will meet 12 Wednesday afternoons from 1 to 3 p.m. To be elligible, children must be 3 years old or more before June 30th, 1985. This term we are hoping to make a trip to the Metro Zoo in May. Following playgroup at 3:00 on Wednesday April 3rd, there will be a short meeting for organizers of the Seagrave Block Parent campaign in the church basement. There doesn't seem to be much news this week, mostly due to a storm damaged phone line at our house I would hope! Please call Patty Williams 985-2453 with next week news. St. John Ambulance reminds you that if you suffer frost bite, the best remedy is to warm the afflicated area gently with body heat. Tuck hands under armpits. Warm frost bitten cheeks with your hands. Glad to report that Clarence Masters is home after surgery in Oshawa and improving. - Also hear Ricky Hope has had knee surgery and coming along great. Nice to see you back in the choir on Sun- day. You were missed by all. Thursday evening eleven tables of Euchre players turned out. On Palm Sunday the children entered the church carrying palm branches. The: junior choir joined with the senior choir singing 'We Have Come Into His House." Rev. Jackson had a story about the palm branches for the chidren and the childrens choir sang 'Joy' then proceeded to their classes down stairs. The senior choir under the leadership of Mrs. Stone sang "Ride Into Our Hearts." Sermon: The Spirit is Willing, but the Flesh is Weak." This is a very special time in the life of the church and special services.
