The ladies return ed to the home of the President for Christmas Devotions. The theme being 'Joy.' Something to sing about, 'Joy to the World' was sung. Diana McKinzey read the meditation. "That Your Joy May Be Full" and "The Power and the Glory", 'Jesus Entered into Human Existance" as Joy, we can sing with conviction and abandon. Followed by hymn "Hark the Glad Sound." Meditation continued the field lies '"'a new world without war' followed by prayer. Hymn "As With Glad- ness Men of Old'. The offering was collected and dedicated to the M.S. fund. Closing poem was from Amy Bolding book. I'll be glad to give a devotion on "Love."" . Hamie Oosterlo des- cribed the customs in Holland and at Christmas time St. Nicholas arrives by boat on Dec. 6th with gifts for children and Dec. 25th by singing and attend- ing Church, Pat Kingstone had three ornaments made of wheat straw, which is a German custom and very attractive. Shown to Pat by Mrs. Wood. The candlelight service and White Gift Service will be held Friday Dec. 21st at 7:30 p.m. The choir from the Island Church will be at Manchester at 11:15 a.m. on Sunday Dec. 16th.
