CAM md ul lH | Annual kiddies' bash Hall roof raised with spooky fun | - Greenbank News by M. Holtby B. Stone Greenbank Hallowe'- en Bash was held at the hall on Saturday night. More than one hundred children attended, dressed in a wide variety of wonderful costumes. A good attempt was made at raising the hall roof with music, games and lots of spooky fun. The hall committee would like to thank all the parents who volunteered their help and a special "Thanks" to the contest judges. We know it was a difficult task to choose winners and they really did a terrific job. Thanks again and "Happy Hallowe'en" to all village kids. Mr. and Mrs. Minz . have moved from the village, back to their farmhouse on the Marsh Hill road. Prof. Parker of Toronto visited Prof. McCready on Sunday. Congratulations to Jennifer Baird on winn- ing the Registered Music Teachers of Ont- ario scholarship for high marks received in Grade 8 voice and theory exams recently. Jennifer, now a student at Ryerson, Toronto, spent the weekend at her parent's home and participated in the Oshawa Festival Sing- ers Concert 'Evening of Song" in Sunderland on Sunday evening. Be sure to reserve Saturday evening, Oct. 17th for a Bicentennial celebration at Green- bank Hall. Learn or renew old memories of bygone days with a presentation of slides and movies of local places and events topped off with a social hour of lunch and coffee.
