One team still undefeated Larocque Electric upped its league record to 5-0 with a convincing victory over Crandells 5-2. Scoring for Larocque: Ken Little, Bernie Mc- Aneny, Dave Roth, Doug Suppelsa and Kevin Reid. Assists: Wayne Taylor (2), Lee Steeves, Doug Suppelsa, Bill VanCamp, Rick VanWeston and Glen Howsam. Crandells goals by Wayne Fox and Neil Rough start for Pee Wee B's The Port Perry Pee Wee No. 2 team sponsor- ed by Stone Real Estate are now two weeks into their schedule with 5 games under their belts. This team is pleased to have Ed Teno and Garry Geer as their very capable coaches. Managing for the Stones is Bob Free. The team forwards are Aaron Cochrane, Doug Adams, Greg Fitzgerald, John Ennis, Ryan Free, Scott Menzies, Adam Cumm- ings, Phil Teno and Troy McCully. On defence we have Graham Sullivan, Brett Puckrin, Chris Forder and Jason Towns. Between the pipes our goalies are David Talbot and David Buxcey. We started our season in Uxbridge on Oct. 12th with a close game coming out losers in a 5-3 game. Scoring for our team were Adam Cummings unassisted, Jason Towns with John Ennis getting the assist and Doug Adams with Ryan Free getting the assist. Our 1st home game was Oct. 13th against Thornhill. We were missing a full line of forwards and yet with good support from coach Garry Geer and the fans, the team kept up with Thornhill throughout the game, coming out on the short end of a 5-4 game Both David's were confident in the net and played well. Goal scorers were Graham Sullivan un- assisted, Adam Cumm- ings assisted by John Ennis, Troy McCully assisted by Aaron Cochrane and an un- assisted goal by Adam Cummings. Stone's then travelled to Pickering Oct. 17th . where a quick goal by Pickering after only 9 seconds of play told the story of the game. The Pickering team skated beautifully and made some great passing throughout the game. Final score 7-0, a well deserved win for the Pickering team. On Sat. Oct. 20the we welcomed Cole Parry to our for- ward line in the home game against Whitby. In the first period, Whitby scored 2 un- answered goals, follow- ed by another goal in the 2nd period. During the game we had numerous shots on the Whitby net but just could not slip the puck past their goalie. A comment from one of the fans was "wholly moley, what a goalie'. On Sunday Oct. 21 we travelled to Markham, where both our goalies Talbot and Buxcey, must have thought they'd be sent in for target practice. although 6 goals were scored for Markham, both David Talbot and David Buxcey stopped numerous shots throughout the game. The Markham team dominated the play throughout the entire game, however, late in the 3rd John Ennis managed to slip away with the puck, take his shot, leaving a loose puck out front for Adam Cummings to poke in the corner. This hope- fully has broken the goose egg and I'm sure the boys were pleased to spoil Markham's shut- out. Our next home game is Oct. 27th at 7:30, hope to see you there. McLaughlin. Greg Roberts assisted on both goals. Sportsland had little trouble defeating Smiths Contracting 5-1. The line of Ken Smart, John Foster and Dave Bourgeois accounted for 9 points. Wayne Norton and Brian Callery scored Sportslands other goals. Smiths lone goal was scored by Greg Heffer- ing, assisted by Mike Driscoll. J&D Carpentry play- ed their finest game of the season with a 3-0 win over Compton Cable TV. J&D's goalkeeper, Pete Namienko record- ed his first shutout as he turned away many Compton snipers. Scoring for J&D were Mike Adam, assisted by John Robertson; Dennis Lycett from Tim Kane, and finally John Robert- son assisted by Joe Curran and Dennis Lycett.
