Oct. 24 at Corrine Croxall's home. There will be a fin. Oct. 26 - The Epsom- Utica Social Club will hold a Halowe'en party at Epsom Church. Come in costume for fun and games. Oct. 27 - There will be a children's Hallowe'en party at Utica Church for all children in Epsom-Utica area. Come in costume 2 until 4 p.m. There will. be movies, fun and games. Oct. 25 - The. annual Beef Supper at Utica. There are still tickets available. There will be a bazaar and bake sale before the supper. After supper there will be a meeting of the session. Oct. 24 - 8p.m. at Utica Choir Practice. ° Paul and Shirley Baster attended a wedd- ing in Boston last week. Our sympathy to David and Joyce Collins and family. David's father passed away recently and Joyce also lost her mother this fall. We are sorry to learn that Mr. Whilty has health problems too and we do hope he is soon better. We are hoping Marguricte Bowles will soon be home from Oshawa Hospital. Glad to hear Faye Ashton is home from hospital. Faye had a tumble from the barn floor to the stable floor and cement is not a soft pillow to land on luckily no bones were broken. Our sympathy to the Tapscott family in the loss of his mother Mrs. Chas Tapscott of Mark- ham. On Sun. Pat Clarke held a birthday party at her home in honour of her father's birthday. Present were Donald and Stella Asling, Jerry, Joan and girls, Faye, Robert, Jamie, Julie Ashton and Clay Demp- sey. Congratulatons Donald. Last week Donald Asling took the evening service at Raglan Anniversary. Don and Stella were supper guests with Jack and Doris Hill before the service. Marie and Earl Wil- son had noon lunch with her mother, Mrs. W.O. Simpson. In the evening Earl and Marie had a visit from their new granddaughter and her parents, Marlene and Ian Archibald. Dorothy and Ray Munro also welcome a new grandchild. Their daughter Susanne Delore of Oshawa has a lovely baby boy. Jerry, Joan, Jennifer and Jill Asling of Han- over were visiting relatives in the area for the weekend. On Sun. Jerry and Jennifer visit- ed Grandma Asling at Fairview Lodge. Our congratulations to Mrs. Alma Asling who cele- brated her 95th birthday. last Sun. When noting the calendar I forgot Ann- iversary Oct. 28 at Utica 11:15 a.m. Rev. John McManiman will be the speaker at 7:30 p.m. at Epsom. Rev. Bob Thompson of Toronto will be guest speaker and he will be accom- panied by the Youth Choir from his church in Toronto. Elmer and Ruth Wil- son were in London when Induction Service was held for their son, Rev. Floyd Wilson at the Sunrise Baptist Church last Sun. The pro- gram, which will be held in the Arboretum Centre on the campus, will begin at 8:30 a.m. and will end at 4:45 p.m. The day has been planned to meet the needs of innovative farmers as well as government and in- dustry specialists, and members of the media, says Professor Stan Young, program co- ordinator. The program covers a dozen topics to be presented by various members of the faculty at Guelph. They include the latest information on feed additives, fly con- trol, silage preser- vatives, performance and carcass characteristics, twinning research, protein sup- plements and silage corn production. The conference fee of $15.00 will include lunch and the proceedings. Those planning to attend should register with Prof. W.S.
