Those attend- ing in addition to the guests of honour were Grant and Ruth Fergu- son, Toronto; Mona and George Dunbar, Scar- borough; Lloyd and Thelma Wright, Bill and Jean Ferguson. After dinner they returned to the home of Bill and Jean Ferguson for visit- ing. Congratulations Sandra and Noel. The 1st Cartwright Ladies Auxiliary recent- ly held a meeting to plan the annual Flea Market which will be held on November 17. Blackstock Rec Centre. Tables are available by calling Barbara Weir at 986-4630. All mothers of boys and girls in the Scout and Guide Move- ment are invited to attend the next meeting at November 7 at 7:00 p.m. at the Rec. Centre. The Blackstock and District Lions' Club will be holding a Canvas of the Township for the C.N.I.B. from October 23-31. Please welcome the canvasser when he arrives at your house. The morning unit of the UCW met at the home of Ruby Camp. After a tasty lunch Unit Leader Eleanor Werry opened the meeting and dealt "with the business. Nancy served a delicious lunch and we enjoyed a social time.
