The majority of people who use the facilities are respectable but not all are so considerate. We will leave this last com- ment to your imagination. We realize that there are improvements need- ed in the parks, but our time is limited and much of it is spent with our many other duties. We are disappointed by the fact that you evidently did not tour the washrooms before writing either articles. This is evident as the facilities had been freshly painted the week before the article was published. In the future, we would appreciate a fairer appraisal of the situation. The Clean-up at Western Weekend went completely unmention- ed. During the weekend, we were picking up gar- bage from the streets and parks by 5 a.m. We have received many compliments from the public regarding this. We realize that these duties are all part of our _ positive in job which we enjoy but it is unfortunate that the negative points regar- ding our work have far outnumbered the publication. P.S. We would like to congratulate the Beautification Commit: tee for the excellent jot in the Port Perry area. It is always a pleasure to work with these fine volunteers.
