Musical evening features Tamarack Residents and visitors of Scugog area may round off the summer's festivities by enjoying a happy musical evening of entertainment celebrating the Ontario Bicentennial. When the nostalgic strains of "When You and I Were Young Maggie" and "K- K-K-Katy"' ring through the old Town Hall, memories of Garden Parties and Hayrides are sure to be experienced, and when another popular tune written by an Ontario song-writer "Dark Town Strutters Ball" is presented there will surely be much toe tapping. Three musicians form the band known as TAMARACK. They make music with voice, tin whistle, fiddle, man- darin, trumpet, har- monica, guitar, percus- sion and double bass. Their performance, ON- TARIO: 200 MUSICAL YEARS, takes place at the Town Hall on Friday, September 7, at 7:30 p.m. and it is sponsored by the Scugog Memorial Library.
