The couple were joined in marriage at the St. John's Presbyterian Church by Kelly's Uncle, Reverend Howard Groom from Nestor Falls, Ontario, and Reverend Charles Clarke of Prince Albert was present to assist Reverend Groom. The bride is the daughter of Ralph and Donna Fairman, Port Perry. The groom is the son of Alan and Laura Evans of Manchester. The bride wore a long, white, Victorian-styled gown of nylon organza, featuring a cathedral train decorated with lace ruffles. The high neckline and bodice were trimmed with Chantilly lace and hand-sewn pearls, and the sleeves were organza with lace inset in them. Kelly also wore a small brimmed lace hat which was decorated in pearls. The bride was given in mar- riage by her father. Maid-of-honour was Patricia Horn of Port Perry, friend of the bride, and best man was Jim Oliver of Man- chester, friend of the groom. Bridesmaids were Vicky Fairman, sister of the bride, Tilly Durward and Joanne Hlozan (all Jf Port Perry). Flower girls were Adrienne and Beverley Evans of Rich- mond Hill, both nieces of the groom. Ushers were Gary Evans of Richmond Hill, brother of the groom, Larry Cheesman of Whit- by, and Brian Hlozan of Port Perry. Kelly was given five (5) showers.
