Results from the Cartwright league On Monday night in Blackstock, Lishmans topped Don Frew and Sons 16-8. Fou. Lish- mans, Chris*Bryant had two homeruns, and one by Bradley Malcolm. Good hitting by Alicia Bentley. Craig Rown- tree and Cory Wilson scored home runs for Don Frew. Kinsmen defeated Breezy Acres Farms in Caesarea. For the Kins- men, Terry Parks hit a home run with two homers by Kendall Chorostecki. Excellent catching was done by Terry Parks, Guy La- - Haye and Art Schry- burt. For the second time in five years, the Turkey Power team has snagg- ed the championship trophy in the Seagrave Parks Board annual Ladies Lob Ball Tourna- ment. On Saturday July 7th captain Debbie Andrews led her team to victory with a final score of 10-6, with Greenbank and Domin- ion Auto from Uxbridge trailing behind. Eight teams fought for first position but Turkey Power came out on top, after winning the league title last year. The team is hoping to do the same thing again this year. Port ladies win game easily over Enniskillen The Dennis Anderson Chev Olds Ladies Lob Ball team remained winners by defeating the Enniskillen Ladies team by a score of 19 to 4 last Wednesday evening at the Enniskillen ball diamond. DACO rover Eve Johnston was instru- mental in keeping Enn- iskillen's score to only 4 runs with some great catches. Another DACO player having a good game was Karol Nott- ingham who had several very nice hits. DACO's next game is at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday evening against Solina at their home diamond.
