Mrs. Glen Smith's sister is visiting from Tokyo and was pleased to attend the Straw- berry supper with family. Ethel Freeman, last week enjoyed a flight to Los Angeles with her son, Michael and his wife, Valerie. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Reader welcomed five relatives and friends from Barrie on Thurs- day. Congratulations to our mail carriers Joe and Clara Dowson who fin- ally have a grandchild after several years of hoping and waiting. Congratulations and best wishes to our young Island resident Mike Adam, son of Jim and Doreen, in his new business venture in Kar and Van Sales and Service in the Reach Industrial Park.
