President Norma Robinson opened the meeting with a poem. Those present were family and neighbours. May your trails be happy ones, Diane. And Thursday even- ing, 12 tables of euchre at the Prince Albert Hall. Prizes went to Bessie McCullough, Pearl Gostick and Mary Williamson. And the men are doing great, no help needed, prizes went to Charlie Dennie, Jim Gibson and Grant Bright. I knew when those hockey games ended, the men would be out in full force. Lone hand series saw a tie - 15 apiece going to Doris Rohrer and Carl Gim- blett. The Couples Club - 25 of them met at the Prince Albert School on Sat. evening and enjoy- ed a baseball game. After which they all gathered at the Prince Albert Church for a barbeque. Mr. and Mrs. John Brough were at the Latcham Centre on Sat. to help Mr. and Mrs. George Cochrane cele- brate their 25th wedding anniversary. Congratulations to Larry and Reta Glas- glow. All the Beacock family were home on Sunday to help good old Dad celebrate Father's Day. On Sat. Les and Grace were in Black- stock to attend the 57th annual Beacock re- union. Ilean Pugh attended a pot-luck supper at the home of Doris Taylor last Wed. evening. This was held for the volun- teer members of the Cancer Society. A number of people rec- eived their 20 year certificate - like Joan Christie, Ilean Pugh and Tot Holtby. Eleanor Davidson received a pin for her 15 years of service. Congratula- tions girls.
