Early bird hole-in-one It may not feel quite like spring yet, but Roger Currie of Cann- ington didn't mind when he was out for a friendly game of golf Sunday afternoon with a couple of buddies at the Crest- wood Club north of Port Perry. On- the second hole, Roger hit a nine iron 125 yards for what may be the earliest recorded hole-in-one for this area ever. Don and Dave Nichol- son, also from Canning- ton were witnesses to the event. Now, if only the golf- ers can get rid of the toques and winter mitts, spring will be here, at last.
