We welcome Anna and Ron Croxall to the village and community, They have just moved into the home formerly owned by Mr. Nelse Ashton. There will be a dance at the Thunderbird Golf and Country Club, under the auspices of the Community Centre on March 31st. You may get tickets or inform- ation at the Ashburn store. There is a new addition built on the Golf Club and it looks pretty nice. Michael Death is a guest this week with Mr. and Mrs. Fred Daw. Peter Kozyriackyj of Burley Falls visited recently with Chris Humphrey. The Kirk Guild met in the Church Hall last Tuesday evening when Janet Smith, manager of the Bank of Montreal in Port Perry, in her very pleasing manner, gave us stme valuable information about money and what every women should know. A social time was spent over the tea cups. The Ashburn group of the W.M.S. met last Wednesday afternoon at the home of Lois Daw. They were married in St. Andrews Presbyterian - Church, Aurora and will live in their new home on the Muskoka ~~ River at Bracebridge. Visitors with the Herons this week were Mr. and Mrs. Robert McAndlers, Michael and Ariana of Ottawa and Mr. and Mrs. Stan Thompson, Mark and Derick of Trenton. Due to the bad storm last Sunday morning, Church service was cancelled. Next Sunday, Rev. George Moore of Port Perry will be our guest minister. Rev. McEntyre is away in Montreal on study leave.
