Two new events were added which turn- ed out to be very successful: the pyramid building event as well as the scavenger hunt. For the senior grades, the title of Miss World was given to Mandy Burnet while in the junior grades, Lisa James was titled Miss Internationa- al. The CHUM video dance which followed at the school Friday night was also a success. Halen etc. (According to a reliable source, Mich- ael Jackson is even better on a hugh screen!). Fortunately for the chaperones, it was fairly quiet with few problems. All pro- ceeds from this dance will be donated to the local "Handy Transit". The cheque will be pre- sented to them this . week. Now, I don't know about anybody else but I do know that I'm just about ready for a break. And fortunately, the March break begins Monday, March 12 and we the students of PPHS fundraiser for the month of April, we will probably be selling chocolate bars to raise this extra money. April is also the month which holds one of the school's most popular events all year, the annual "At- Home". This year's theme is "A Night of Royalty', but unfortun- ately, unless the At- Home committee receives more help from the student body, we may not have a dance at all. The dance is early this year, Friday, April 13 and there are many decorations to be com- pleted before this date. So let's show some school spirit and get involved in helping the committee.
