Ontario beef pro- ducers say they are un- happy with the Provin- cial government plans - to set up a marketing "agency for the red meat industry. Clare Bagshaw, the Ontario County - repre- sentative on the board of directors for the Ontario Cattlemen's Association told the Star last week 'there is a fight brew- ing", as the Association will be putting pressure on provincial Agri- culture Minister Dennis Timbrell for changes in the marketing agency proposals. Mr. Bagshaw, a beef farmer from Canning- ton said virtually all 48 directors of the Ontario Cattlemen's Association are unhappy with the government plans for the marketing agency and other proposals for the red meat industry announced earlier this month by Mr. Timbrell.
