Leatherdale and Toye controlling the play in the corner set up Sorley for his second goal of the game. Cornish carrying the puck into the opposition end drew goalie Embury then a quick pass to linemate Grosvenor who had no trouble popping one into the open net. Port played with 3 defence- men and did an admir- able job but got a little -- leg weary in the late going and Stouffville finally got its lone goal at 7:27 of the third. Full marks go to a good overall defensive team effort. Oshawa Canadians proved an extremely close match with the score heldc in suspense until the 2:07 mark of' the overtime period. Gibson made it 3-2 from Wylie and Fitzgerald early in the second but Oshawa re- taliated before the com- pletion of the period.
