In the second period B.J.'s got two more goals to make it 6-2 when Al Gray scored both goals that gave him the hat trick. Rick Olaisen got two more assists that gave him three and Bob Tar- bottom got one more. While losing 6-2 Comp- ton stormed back with three quick goals from Ron Compton, Wayne Norten, and Pete Van Weston. Mike Driscoll tied it at 2 from Joe Curran then 2 min- utes to go, Joe Curran came up with the most important goal as he tied Mike Adamat the contact league point for the game winner. The red hot Crandells Riverboat defeated Sportsland Falcons 4-2. this is Crandells fifth win in a row. In the first Ken Smart put Sportsland on the board at 5:17 when he scored from Jim Beatty and Larry Courtice. Crandells tied things up seconds later when Floyd Asselstine scored from Bruce Smith. In the second Crandells got three quick goals. Bruce Smith got two and Tont Turner got one. Paul Mark and Bruce Smith received the assists. Bruce Smith had two goals and two assists for the day. Sportsland got one more to make it 4-2 late in the game. Brian Samis got Sportsland's second goal. Final score was Cran- dell's 4, Sportsland 2.
