All enjoy- ed the song and choral read- ing presented by the Sunday School proving that we have a very dedicated staff who spend hours on their work to give the children a complete Christian iraining The seasonal decorations of flowers, fruit, vegetables, grain and leaves were artistically arranged and added beauty as well as making us aware of God's gifts for which we give thanks in October. Epsom 4-H by Sandra Kerry The six girls in our club shoce the name Epsom Dis- coverers this unit because this unit was exploring the outdoors. Our activities included hand sewing a tote bag, learning to barbecue shish- kabob and preparing wild edibles. We also made plaster casts of animal tracks and created pretty plaster plaques using dried flowers. We enjoyed decorating stationery with leaf printing. At our last meeting we make kites and hiked through a woodlot. We would like to thank our leaders Mrs. Gail Kerry and Mrs. Elva Kerry for making this unit so interesting and fun. We would also like to thank Lake Scugog Lumber Com- pany for the wood for our kites, Port Perry Printing for donating paper for our leaf prints and Gordon and Lloyd McDonald for allowing us to explore their woods. i: el a a "a »- ® a s® uwt » 4 a Mot, Oe W = Se "nw, tie _---- NWT TLE A TN - - es An Re RS oa a La 7% 2 A ", AJ . fy EE EEL . ~~ =" A A 3 AR Wh, iS
