Blackstock Playground by Caroline, Sue & Vanessa This week the Blackstock Playground began its six week session. So tune in each week for the continuing saga of "The Young and the Rest- less." This week's story began with "All Our - Children" drifting into "Another World" . . . it was space week! With a crew of between fifteen and twenty children beaming in daily our play- ground blasted off success- fully. A visit to Mr. Bill Lishman's workshop was the highlight of the week. The children really enjoyed their visit and we wish to thank Mr. Lishman and Aaron for their hospitality. A thank you is also extended to those space moms who lent their rockets for the journey. A gourmet martian meal was devoured by our young space monsters on Friday -- despite the fact everything was green and no one ended up at "General Hospital." Next week is Career week and we hope your child will find 'The Guding Light" at Playground. This week's theme is "Nous commes canadiens' and we will be looking at the French culture in Canada and what that means to us as Canadians. Besides some dramatic productions, oome crepes, rollerskating and swimming, this week should be fun for all. See you there! Oh, by the way, cold drinks will be sold at lunchtime.
