Six parents presented their children for baptism; Leslie Ann Hunter, daughter of Jim and Shirley Hunter, Prince Albert; Kevin Lewis Kerry, son of Grant and Sonja Kerry, Oshawa: Kimberley Marie Ruis, daughter of Edward and Deborah (Cook- man) Ruis, Oshawa; Scott Allan Spencer and Shelly Ann Spencer children of Robert and Patricia Spencer; Joel David Thom- son, son of Jim and Kim- berely Thomson, Valier Leanne Ward, daughter of Jim and Barbara Ward. Mr. Wm. Stone presented each parent with their certificate of Baptism and Mrs. Jean Hunter gave each mother a lovely red carnation. Mrs. Hunter also presented a car- nation to Mrs. Marion Trudeau, mother of Mrs. Jim Hunter who had driven from Sault Ste. Marie to see her grandaughter baptized. Next Sunday Services will be taken by the young people who attended Toc Alpha Con- ference in Toronto last Christmas. Our Church has now been set up for "baby sitting, during the service so all parents interested, please leave your children with baby sitters. before the service at 11:30. Mr. and Mrs. Howard McMillan attended the wedding of a cousin, Mr. Ian Ellingham' to Miss Diana Steele, on Saturday at Lawrence Park Community Church, Toronto. On Wednesday, May 19, Coffee Hour will be doing silk flower arrangements. Please bring your own containers. The neighbours at the corner of Highway 12 and 47 will be having their garage sale at the corner on Sat- urday, May 15. Sorry to report that Mrs. Kathleen Leask is a patient in Port Perry Hospital, we wish her a speedy recovery. We are pleased to hear that Mr. and. Mrs. Rick Windsor were finally able to bring their wee son home from Oshawa Hospital. Recent visitors with Mr, and Mrs. Armour McMillan "were Mr. and Mrs. Russel Heron, Mr. and Mrs, Roy McMullen and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Rennie all of Sunder- land. The Greenbank Spring Clean-up Sale went ahead on schedule last Saturday and was a great success for the Hall Committee in all respects except unrelenting rainy weather. Due to this fact, a repeat of the same event will be held outside the hall 'on Saturday, May 15, 9:00 a.m. to 3 p.m., weather permitting. The Hall Committee would like to express their sincere thanks to all individuals to - numerous to name who were most generous in their donations of baked goods, articles for sale, and help in set up and clean up for this event, their help and support is very greatly appreciated.
