24 -- PORT PERRY STAR -- Wed. May 5, 1982 Nestleton, Caesarea and area news by Mabel Cawker Mother's Day Thought Mother's Day will be cele- brated this Sunday, May 9th. Let us remember we have only one Mother. Most of all the other beautiful things in life come by twos and threes, dozens and hundrends. Plenty of roses, stars, sun- sets, rainbows, brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles and cousins, but only one Mother in the whole world. See, that at least, you phone her, send a card or whatever, if you can't reward her with a visit which would be special to Mother. Birthday Surprise Party Norma Jean Newbold, Caesarea, who turned 16 last Tuesday, had the surprise of her life when her parents, Frank and Tess "hosted" a birthday celebration on Fri- day evening in her honour. It was held at their Newbold Beacon Marina in Caesarea, which they purchased a year or so ago. Many friends and neighbours from Markham, where they formerly lived, and Caesarea, were on hand to extend 'happy birthday" to Norma Jean. A beautiful cake and all the trimmings made it a very happy occasion. Our very best to Norma Jean on her 16th!
