The fine travelling weather certainly was a great help for all those on the roads. The Blackstock Ladies' Curling Club held their Christmas draw -on Dec- ember 21st complete with Santa Claus making the draws. Lucky winners were: 1st James Mackie won the ham; 2. E. Toppie won the chocolates and Bernice Mairs won the flower arrangement with the prizes to the lucky sellers going to Mary Mackie, Pat Millson and K. Petrie. Congrat- ulations to all the winners. The proceeds from this venture will be used to purchase a regulation measurer for the Curling Club. Andy Mackie celebrated his seventh birthday by entertaining four friends on December 16.
