NOVICE HOUSE LEAGUE Sportsland -5 Scugog Realty - 0 Sportsland again dominat- ed play, defeating Scugog Realty 5 - 0. Richard LaRocque opened the scor- ing on a pass from Mike Olaisen. Mike then got a hat trick, scoring the first two unassisted, then getting his third marker assisted by Andrew Pereman Richard LaRacque. Richard then finished the scoring with 57 seconds remaining in the third period on an unassisted effort. Carl Payne registered the shut- out. and . oh Mo LU BABOON ST PORT PERRY STAR -- Wed., December 16, 1981 -- 21 --House League Hockey Slap Shots Kinsmen - 4 Reliable Plumbing - 2 In a much closer game, Kinsmen doubled Reliable Plumbing 4 - 2. The Plumbers were first on the scoreboard on an unassisted effort by Jody Logan. Kinsmen came back to tie the score at one on a goal by Sean McEnaney, assisted by Donny Hughes. John Collins scored the go-ahead marker early in. the second period, assisted by Brian Madill. Jeff Brelt put his team ahead by two, assisted by John Port Pee Wee B's win by Doreen Kendall The George Stone Real Estate Pee Wee B's had a very busy past week compet- ing in the "Lake of Bays Tournament' and one game against Ajax. In the tourna- ment we picked up a win and a loss and a solid win against Ajax. Saturday Dec. 12th bright and early cars were loaded and "The George Stones" headed north for Baysville. At the end of the first period of play Omemee was ahead 2 to 0. Then the boys caught hold at 6:33 mark of the second period when Robbie Brown put the puck away off a pass from Steve Connors. Mike Gibson found the mark off a pass from Tim Allsopp to tie the score. With 3 minutes remaining in the second period Rob Jamieson put "The Stones" ahead with Inglis INGLIS ELECTRIC CLOTHES DRYER a goal off a pass from Tim Allsopp and Mike Gibson. There was no scoring in the third period and Port hung on for the 3 to 2 win. Three penalties were assess- ed to Omemee and 1 to Port Perry. Mark Kendall played effectively between the pipes. In the second game of the tournament the George Stone Real Estate boys were pitted against MacTier. This was to prove to be one of our less sterling performance of this season as MacTier beat us 5 to 1. The Stones just couldn't get their act together. Ports only goal scorer was Jamie Cannon off a pass from Jamie Menzies. Sunday December 13th, the "Stones" were in Ajax and came home with a big 5 to 2 win. This was an excellent heads up game with each boy giving 110 percent effort. Scoring for Port saw Steve Connors with 2 goals and 1 assist. Robbie Brown was credited with 1 goal and two assists. Blair Phillips scored an unassisted goal on a penalty shot and Danny Vernon had an unassisted marker. Jamie Cannon and Blair Bailey Collins. Donny Hughes scored the fourth Kinsmen marker from Sean McEnaney. Jody Logan got his second goal of the game, unassisted at the end of the third period, for the Plumbers. The Plumbers put in a fine effort, and appear tv be the team to watch in the next few weeks. two each picked up an assist. The goal tending duties were shared by Mark Kendall anc Stacey Ballingall with both boys playing well, The George Stone Real Estate Pee Wees next home game is Saturday Dec. 19th at 7:30 P.M. Come out and support minor hockey. Bantams split games by Carol Wilbur On Wed. Dec. 2 before going to Bancroft Tourney, the Beare Motors Bantams soundly beat Pickering 8 - 2. Mike Dickson had a hat trick, Jeff Cox and Lee Wilbur had 1 goal and 1 assist each. Dave Burnett, Fred Cockerton and Jamie Lee each had 1 goal.
