The noon luncheon was delicious and well served - and the Panel re - "Christian Moral- ity To-day" with Moderator Rev. Ed. Schamerhorn - worthwhile. S Don and Norma Frew, Nestleton, attended a very interesting Conference on "English Genealogical Sources' held at the Holiday Inn, Toronto, for three days - Oct. 23 - 25th. Many special speakers from England, and the Mormon Church in Utah, U.S.A. gave indepth infor- mation re- tracing ancestors. Norm and Bernice Mairs, Nestleton, attended the wedding of Norm's niece, Sherry Sellers and Bill Ratz on Saturday . afternoon in Trinity United Church, Collingwood. Rev. Samual Fuller officiated at the impressive candle lighting ceremony at 4 p.m. The reception was held at School House Lane with 140 guests present for the occasion. Corporal W. Elsie 8S. Port Perry on Thursday - 10 am. - 4 pm. with 14 members present. The leaders Clara Warren and Thelma McCreight skillfully taught the basic principles of cooking the nutritious foods, and members enjoyed the assortment of delicious dishes at the noon hour topped off with tea or coffee. These courses are planned to assist women in being expert Homemakers and are free to Women's groups through the Ministry of Agr & Food, Home Economics Branch. The Nestleton folk who attended the Anniversary Service at Blackstock United Church on Sunday Morning found the choir music excellent and Dr. W. F. Banister's message most inspiring.
