They defeated Brad- ford in an exhibition game and picked up a win over the Uxbridge and Port Hope teams in their first two league games. This should be a good year for the Pee Wee's, with seventeen very talented and enthusiastic hockey players. The majority of the boys are re- united, after a successful year together as Atoms, two years ago. On Friday, October . 16, 1981, the Legion Pee Wee team. played host to Uxbridge and defeated them by a score of 9-6. David Culbert lit up the scoreboard early in the first period, with assists going to Blair Phillips and John Lally. Port picked up two more goals in the first period, scored by Robbie re Baker from Andrew Steele and David Burnett, and Brad Menzies from Steven Durham and Bobbie Goble, Uxbridge picked up their first goal early in the second period but Port answered that goal when Dave Burnett got one of his famous hard slap-shots away that "mesmorized the goalie, with the assist' going to Brad Menzies.
