If you haven' t guessed already our third week of playground was based on the fitness theme. Our activities included exercises, competing for fitness badges as well as our regulars of swimming, roller skating and films on soccer skills. The highlight of the week was our Baseball-a-thon, which proved to be a great success as both entertaining and fund raising totalling $125.00! This money will go towards our trip to Ontario Place in our final week of playground. Not only did the participants have fun, but so did our visitors including Mayor Jerry Taylor. This week is our Animal Week with events planned such as a pet show, pony rides, films on the zoo and WHILE QUANTIT ESLAST! On one of our "discovery" walks we discovered a Secret place where we built a Secret fort. So now we have somewhere Secret to go! This week we are catching the first rocketship to space or maybe we'll just make our own! Whichever the case Black- stock playground will be really "spaced" out this week. On Friday, the Prince Albert Indian tribes gath- ered for a pow-wow and then set forth on an exciting excursion to raise money for (Turn to page 20) Cartwright Softball scores (From page 16) down to defeat 27 to 3 at the hands of Lishmans.
