A shower for Lori Larmer, nee Pollard will be held at the home of June Spencer on Saturday March 28th at 2:00 p.m. All ladies are invited. The Brownies and their leaders, spent last weekend camping out at Haliburton. Choir practise will be held Thursday evening at 8:00 p.m. Mr. and Mrs. Roddy Foster have returned from their Florida vacation. On Sunday, March 29th, at 8:00 p.m. a concert will be held in Seagrave Church, under the auspices of Mr. Alex Ingram in aid of the Seagrave organ fund. Everyone is welcome to attend. Sorry to report Mr. Dave Thomson, and Mr. Jas. Lee are in Port Perry hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Raynor, and son of Stouffville visited Mrs. Kathleen Leask and John on Sunday. Guests of Mr. and Mrs. Neil Hunter on Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Jack Lowe of Markham; and Mr. and Mrs. Hunter attended the funeral of Mr. Ed Shaddock in Toronto last week. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Coupor- thwaite attended the Maple Festival on Sunday at the farm of Mr. and Mrs. Prentice on the Island. On Saturday afternoon, Mrs. Don McKean hosted a bridal shower. The guest of honor was Miss Susan Jeffs of Don Mills. S he is Helen's niece. Friends and relatives from Oshawa, Pickering, and Willowdale enjoyed this very happy occasion. These included Susan's grand- mother, Mrs. = Florence: Archer. After the gifts were opened and admired, a delicious lunch including a beautifully decorated cake, w was served. Monday, March 30th is the annual meeting of Lindsay Presbyterial United Church Women at Fenelon Falls United Church.
