The Jones' are participa- ting in a teacher exchange program and will take over the home of John and Marion Rodway of Paxton Street, Port Perry for the next year. While here, Don will take up the teaching duties in physical education and mathematics at Port Perry High School, vacated by John Rodway. Meanwhile, the Rodway home is in shambles, as the Jones have begun unpacking their belongings and the Rodways continue searching . their closets and drawers for all the clothing they will need for the next year. "It's been confusing for the past few days, but fun," Mr. Rodway says. The Jones' arrived in Toronto on Boxing Day and were greeted by the Rod- ways who transported them to Port Perry. 'We had never seen snow before," exclaimed Mr. Jones in his thick Australian accent, "it's like in the postcards." John and Don spent one morning last week jogging around town, as Mr. Jones is an avid jogger. His first impressions of Port Perry were very favourable, having come from Robey- stone, a town about the same size on the outskirts of Perth. Now as the Jones' begin to settle into a new lifestyle, the Rodway's get ready to leave for Australia. They will spend the night in Toronto Tuesday (tonight) and board the plane on Wednesday morning, for a thirty four hour flight which will take them to Vancouver, Honu- lulu, Fiji. and finally to Sydney, Australia. And how do they feel now that they stand on the threshold of a new lifestyle? It can be summed up in Don Jones' words when he said, "the challenge professional- ly and socially is very exciting?"
