Saturday morning the ground was covered with snow, the kids had a ball even though it was gone by noon. I think winter is almost here, which means Christmas is just around the corner. The entire Sunday school were shown a movie by superintendent Greg Smith on Sunday, as there was no 'church. Church and Sunday School will resume as normal next Sunday. White gift Sunday will be the first Sunday in December. Cubs and: Beavers joined together on Thursday night with each boy bringing a parent to celebrate Hallowe'en with a Hobo ¢ Night. Everyone had a real Hail and hearty at 90 E Mrs. Catherine Lee celebrated her 90th birthday last Sunday with family and friends. Mrs. Lee has lived all her life in the Scugog-Uxbridge areas and now resides at the Villa in Port Perry. She has nine children, 33 'children. grandchildren and 54 great grand- good time. There will be no cubs this Wednesday as the annual Turkey Dinner will be held on Wednesday night. Many thanks to all those who donated items and their time to help make the Mothers Auxiliary Bazaar such a success on Saturday. A special thank you to all the little Brownies who helped at the tea tables and in the kitchen. The next meeting of the auxiliary will be held at the home of Donna Wanamaker on Thursday November 20 at 8 p.m. Any ladies in the community who are interest- ed in attending the annual Fellowship Sister Banquet the evening program and or in being a Fellowship Sister next year, please call Sheila Sears at 985-8324, Donna Phypers at 985-7451 or Jessie Nobbs at 705-357-3478.
