Rumour has it to be on the lookout for all forms of strange unidentified adult-like figures roaming the Seagrave terrain on Friday night. The older Sunday school class was treated to a party at the church last week thanks to teachers Dianne Puckrin and Donna Phypers. By all reports the evening was a big success. The Seagrave Church Junior Choir held its debut Sunday morning to the sheer delight of the congregation. This newly formed young group is under the very capable direction of choir leader Joan Lee. We are all - looking forward to future performances! Happy birthday to Jason McDully and Sonja Whyte who visited the birthday box on Sunday. Flowers in the sanctuary were in loving memory of the late Gordon Smith, brother- in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Puckrin: The Greenbank Church anniversary will be celebrat- ed this Sunday, November 2 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Roger Maggs, Co-ordinator of Chaplain Services at the Oshawa General Hospital as the guest speaker. A resolution to be read -at the Area Convention was read on reverence for God and respect for Human life. The business consisted of discussing our convention on Nov. 4th at the Royal York, 2 bust trip to Lanark on Oct. 29th, cookies for the Home Life Series, and a donation to help the Brownies. We then enjoyed hearing our guest speaker, Mrs. Barbara Phair tell us of her work in teaching the handi- capped on mental retardat- ion.
