Twenty-five members and guests were present to hear our guest speaker Mrs. Helen Rumbul from King City who attended associated Country Women of the World Conferénce in Germany last May. The theme was For- ward Together. Her humor- ous and informative presen- tations of the highlights of the conference and her ex- tended tour of Europe chall- enge our ideas of Citizenship and World Affairs. The motto, A Man's feet should be planted in his own country, but his eyes should survey the world, was answered by Mrs. L. Pogue. A special and delightful part of the program were several songs by Christine Hempen who accompanied herself on the guitar. Thank you very much Christine.
