Scugog's Mayor Jerry Taylor didn't end up the most beautiful person in this part of the Superstar contest, although the make-up artist who volunteered from the audience, did a fine job. Winner of this event was Tom Armstrong, and he sure did look pretty. POE i The Superstar Contest has become a favourite spectator event during the past . five years of Western Weekend and this year was no exception. This year's overall winners were [a tie] Bobbie Drew and Kinsmen Tom Armstrong, with a fine showing by all those taking part.
