There were six home runs hit in the Oshawa: - Littl® - Britain garhe, making it a most entertaining one for Lob Ball. Each team club- bed three fence busting round trippers. Little Britain looked hopelessly out of contention before they mugged Oshawa for seven runs in the last inning. A bases loaded double by Murray Roche and a C. Archer three bagger gave the Mean Machine three runs. Earlier they had tallied twice. K. Jenkins, Hallett and J. Sloan cleared the fences with homers for the Machine. V. Smith, MclInray, Bouchey, cranked them out for Oshawa. The Mean Machine used the 'dingers' to climb back into the game in its late stages. At one point, follow- ing the fifth inning, they were down 11-4.
