The president, Mrs. Mc- Kean, chaired the meeting welcoming everyone, and read a poem on "Spring'. The Roll Call was answered by '"What can we do to im-- prove our W.I.-and-get new members?" Minutes were read by Sec., Mrs. A. Mec- Millan, also several items of correspondence. The District Annual is May 22nd at Claremont Unit- ed Church. Our W. A lovely lunch was served by the April group. by Vera Brown Church service this week will be at Epsom Church at 11:30 a.m. Sunday School at Utica is at 10:00 a.m. The first prayer meeting was held at Epsom Church last Wednesday with 9 in attendance. The next meet- ing will be held in two weeks at Utica. Meetings start at 7:30 p.m. and everyone is welcome. The dance held on Satur- day evening was well attend- ed and everyone enjoyed the music of the Log Cabin Boys so much that they requested another dance to be held, so set aside May 31st for an evening out in Utica. Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm Schofield and family were Sunday supper guests with her parents Mr. and Mrs. George Harper. Mr. and Mrs. Harper attended 'the Utica News funeral of her aunt, Mrs. Jean Vice of Solina. Recent visitors with Mrs. Delia Harper were Mrs. Sut- cliffe on Thursday evening and Mr. and Mrs. Mike Schofield and family on Sunday. Mr. and Mts. Roy Sutcliffe were Sunday supper guests with Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Bray. Miss Elaine Knight visited on Sunday with Miss Kathy Sutcliffe. The Browns had Jeremy and his parents visit on Sunday. I'll get the house back in shape in a couple of days. He's only 8 months old but he can get into trouble, just like his mother when she was little.
