While there they visited with Mrs. Jane Boyes and family and atten- ded the 65th Wedding Anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Lownsbrough, who are well ort in their 80's. Mrs. Lownsbrough is still very side and were in excellent condition. Oil wells were progressing - one oil well is to go to the two mile depth - the second level. The Western folk talk a good deal re - the hardships they have had in the past and still carry on baking their own bread, etc. Grahame and Neta found all the concessions clear, and the Westerners haven't had to plow this winter as yet. The only place they saw a Carnduff, Sask. is a wonderful community, the friendliness of the people, even strangers make one feel at home, and they treat them like one of their own family.
