Drags on ice bring out the drivers and the spectators Over 1000 spectators lined the ice track Sunday after- noon as 140 drivers competed in over 200 heats in the annual snowmobile drag races hosted by the Port Perry Snowmobile Club. The weather was brisk and cold but the number of competitors and spectators proved the drags are fast becoming one of the most popular winter events in the Scugog area. Kent's Bay, just west of Port Perry, and organizers say they went without a hitch. From the luxurious warmth of the Rothman's "special events' caravan, Harvey Graham did his usual superb Job of calling the "play by play."
