Last week was summary day at Goodwood - Latcham Hall. There they joined 8 other W.I. groups. Our display was Remember When. We used a wicker carriage and a potty chair for the back- ground to display terrarium and dish gardens. Then there was an antique Hall tree to display plants in macrame holders which the group had made. Port Perry High School news by Ellen Buller Examinations are finally over for another semester and in order to get rid of those after exams blues and those mid-winter blahs our students council has arrang- ed a fun-filled February. This being the heart and lace month, Valentine Carnation sales have started on February 4th and the flowers will be on sale for a full week. There are now 3 various Redmen in the area and the Students Council is holding a contest in which the winner will be awarded a prize. The winning nick- name and participant will be announced at a later date. Our Boy's Basketball team will be journeying to Sudbury on Feb. 7th to participate in a tournament. Then on Thursday, Jan. 31st, Dunbarton hosted a girls volleyball tournament and all three of our teams competed. The Midgets lost to _Dun- Dunbarton 2 games to 1. The Seniors lost to Dun- barton 2 games too, and lost their second game to Roberts 1 game to 2. Congratulations girls and good luck in future games. Everybody!
