Fé Standing ovations for Choral Society Wednesday, last week, Scugog Choral Society began rehearsals in connection with the next production of Music, Music, Music. This is the third consecutive year, and has always made a big hit with the public. This year's production will again take place in Town Hall 1873 Friday and Satur- day, April 25 and 26 and part of the program will consist of excerpts from such popular musicals as South Pacific, Oklahoma, and The King and I The group opened the 1980 season last Friday, on an invitation by Port Perry Agricultural Society. The annual meeting of the Society was the occasion and about half the members of the choir turned out and entertained with a few numbers to a very grateful audience, rewarding the singers with a standing ovation. » & EY ¥ I. a EK Py UN L UA I 3 kL Q ¢ @ b 3 ¢ 4 b mA
