Joyce is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ian Hepburn of Toronto and Scott is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kenny of Port Perry. The Rev. A. Woolcock officiated: Kenny - ERS at the candlelight ceremony. The bride's attendants were Anja Snow, as Matron of Honour, Joan Groote, Nancy McIntyre, Collett Prefontaine and Anne Coates, bridesmaids. Attending as best man was Mark Kenny. The bride is the daughter of Mr.. and Mrs. Port Perry United Church was the scene for a pretty wedding on Saturday, Sept. 22, 1979 when Sharon Louise Robinson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Robinson, 469 Queen St. Prince Albert, became the bride of Donald James Chambers son of Mr. Almyr Tomlinson of Ponty- pool Ontario. The groom is the son of Mrs. Nellie Noten- boom of Port Perry Ontario. The bride and groom now reside in Porterville, Ontario. and Mrs. Doug Chambers 32 Delbert Dr. of Scarborough. Rev. Robert Brawn of Port Perry officiated. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a dress of white jersey trimmed with Belgiam lace, (Turn to page 35) Groote and Alan Shantz served as ushers. Following the reception at the Port Perry Curling Club, the couple left for a holiday in Maine. .Scott and Joyce Kenny now reside in Edmon- ton, Alberta, where Scott is employed by the City of Edmonton and Joyce is attending university. W Lown - Simpson Port Perry United Church was the setting for the wedding of Sylvia Dawn Simpson to Wayne Charles Lown on Saturday Septem- ber 8, 1979. Rev. Robert Brawn offici- ated the double ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Simpson of 1265 Pentland Street, Oshawa. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lown of 359 Major Street, Port Perry. Bartle- Bray The marriage of Barbara Irene Bray and David William Bartle was solem- nized in Raglan United Church Saturday Oct. 6, 1979. Rev. John Hill officiated at the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Bray of Raglan Ont. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bartle of Arthur, Ont. Given in marriage by her father the bride wore a formal gown of carnation white sheer chiffon over taffeta. The bodice featured a Queen Anne neckline and was covered with imported lustre knit venice lace. The same lace accented the full bishop sleeves. Her full circular skirt flowed into a chapel train. A matching headpiece held her fingertip imported french illusion veil. She carried a nosegay arrangement of peach Sweetheart roses and babies breath. The bride's attendant was her sister Marlene Bray wearing a peach shade sheer Chiffon gown. Dale Bartle of Mississauga brother of the groom acted as bestman. The reception was held in the Christian Education room of Raglan Church followed by a wedding dance at Utica Community Hall. The newlyweds are resid- ing in Arthur, Ontario. Given in marriage by her father the bride wore a floor length gown of silk organza in a Victorian styling. With empire waist, lace inset at the high neckline and full sleeves. Her floor length veil was held in place by a matching pillbox headpiece. She carried a bouquet of red roses and baby's breath. Tammie Summers of Oshawa, friend of the bride, was the maid of honour. Bridesmaids were Jackie Simpson of Oshawa, sister of the bride, and Janice Lown of Port Perry, sister of the groom, Michelle Anderson of Oshawa, friend of the bride and Lisa Lown of Port Perry, sister of the groom was the "flower girl. Michael Geer of Port Perry, friend of the groom, acted as best man. Ushers were Wayne Taylor and Gary Lane of Port Perry and Cassal Larmer of Oshawa. The reception and dance were held at the Port Perry Legion. The newlyweds will reside at 243-111 Taunton Rd. East, Oshawa, Ontario. ) Morisssey-Bray The marriage of Sharon Louise Bray, of Port Perry to Brian Kenneth Morrissey, of Oshawa, took place Saturday July 21, 1979, in Columbus United Church, Columbus. Rev. John Hill officiated at the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Earl Bray of R.R. 2, Port Perry. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Bernard Morrissey of 221 Waverly St. S., Oshawa. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a full length gown featuring a sweetheart neckline, shep- herdess sleeves and an empire waist. Tiny pearls and Chantilly lace high- lighted the neckline, sleeves and bodice of the gown which fell from the waist into a chapel train at the back. A matching headpiece held her imported illusion veil. Susan Andrews, of Oshawa, was matron-of- honour. Bridesmaids were Betty Bray, of Oshawa, Beverly Bray of Whitby, and Sandra Bray of Texas, all sisters of the bride, and Brenda McMurter of West Hill. Wayne Pringle of Whitby acted as best man. Ushers were David Morrissey of Whitby, brother of the groom, Mark Jones of Oshawa, Michael Morrissey of Oshawa, brother of the groom and Thomas Bray of Port Perry, brother of the bride. The reception was held at the Latcham Centre, Port Perry. The newlyweds will reside in Oshawa.
