Sorry to report Mrs. Russ (Elva) Rodd Uxbridge is ill in Uxbridge Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Art Couves, Friday supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Bailey, Brampton. Mr. Lloyd Ashenhurst from Cardinal for the week- end with Mr. and Mrs. A. McMillan. Brian and Trevor Till ol Ivan and Larry Bacon were competitors at the Junior Ploughing Match at Earl Bacon's last week. Congrat- ulations to Larry, first in his class. Mark Roundell is spending a week's holidays at the East Coast. Regular Card Party this Friday evening in the hall at 8:00. Everyone welcome. Mrs. A. McMillan attended ~ the funeral of her cousin Mrs. Ola Forsythe one day last week. Mrs. Leta Leask and sist- ers, Mrs. Tomlinson of Stouffville and Mrs. McCor- mack of North Bay spent a few days last week in the city. While there they took in the Ex. Mr. and Mrs. Norm Elson spent the weekend with his brother in Tweed, Ontario. Miss Cathy McGee is at- tending Durham College School of Nursing. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Veitch of Epsom recent guests of Mrs. Myrtle Thomas. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Rey- nolds and Matthew of Barker N.Y. visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Ivon Spencer over the weekend. Brian Lee, representing the Jr. Farmers has return- ed home from a tour of the United Nations in New York, also Washington, D.C. and the Amish Country. Mrs. Glen Till was a busy mother this past weekend. On Saturday she took son Brian and Grandma and | * Grandpa Dobson to Welling- ton. Brian played on the Uxbridge Midget Ball Team there. On Sunday Mary Jean took son Trevor who plays on the Uxbridge Bantam Ball Team to Meaford. Also going for the trip were Grandma Till and Mrs. Jean Johnson. Mr. and Mrs. Allan Ball of Sandford visiting Frank Lee's Sunday. Sorry to report Mrs. Phyll- is Clark's son injuried in swimming accident. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Cook- man, Susan and Chris spent the weekend at Moosonee. A large crowd attended Port Perry Fair and several of our Greenbank Jr. Farm- ers showed cattle. Congratulations to Mrs. R. Baird who celebrated her 80th birthday at a dinner party with her family on Sunday. Mrs. Margaret "Bissig" Phyl of Switzerland has been visiting her family for three weeks and has been with Fred and Iva Phoenix on a few occasions.
