6 -- PORT PERRY STAR -- Wednesday, May 30, 1979 letters (From Page 5) Thousands of food adulter- ations are known and-or sus- pected in many serious hea- Ith problems inéluding canc- er, heart disease, diabetes, hypoglycemia and hyperact- ivity etc. The true natural food advocate does not use "miracle health foods". He "uses unrefined foods to esta- blish and continue good hea- Ith. In an effort to disassociate ourselves with the quackery of "miracle health foods" we have decided to call our foods-*'fine foods", truly nat- ure's finest. Thank you for bringing ths to public attention. Danielle Clark Disagrees with editorial comment Dear Sir: Regarding your editorial in last week's paper (May 23rd), I for one find it comp- letely intolerable. First you say a minority government won't work, then you say we will go to the polls in another year, then to make matters worse, you claim Clark is untried and untested. When Trudeau came to power in 1968, he was the same way, right? Mr. Trud- eau has reduced the Liberals from the largest single and most powerful force in Cana- da in 1968 to the place where it is today. The public debt we have ($8.3 Billion) will not be paid off in our child- ren's children's time." This is the'legacy that Trudeau lea- ves for us. Instead of your negative attitude on this, the first week of Joe Clark as P.M., why don't we all work togeth- er to get this great country, Canada, back on its feet. We, the people of Canada, cannot afford another elect- ion, nor do we want one for quite some time. Trudeau claims he is the only one who can deal with Quebec, yet before he be- came P.M. there were no problems in that Province. I'm sure that Joe Clark or Ed Broadbent or you, the Edit- or , could deal with Quebec just as effectively as PET. I'm happy to see thatewe have a P.M. as young as Clark in the drivers seat, it may encourage our young people to get more involved in the affairs of our country. As to uncertainty, that only lingers in the minds of Edit- ors of weekly papers. As the N.D.P. slogan says: *'A nation out o8% can't work 'as on." Lets forget party of affiliation for now, and get on with the job. We've had our laugh, now, back to work.
