Scugog Lake GRS win two awards The Scugog Lake G.R.S. Club won two awards at the. Jamboree sponsored by the. Durham Regional Sociables, Oshawa on the week-end..of May 19th-21st. All proceeds from the Jamboree are going to Handi-Transit in Oshawa. The first award was for the largest percentage of total membership present at the Coffee Break on May 20th. Our Club had 69percent in attendance. This was the first time that this award has been given. The second award was for the largest Club camping for the week-end at the Jambor- ee which was held at Iroqu- ois Park, Whitby, Ont. The Scugog Lake G.R.S.Cl- ub won these awards over 75 other Clubs that were in attendance at the Break and Jamboree. The Durham Regional Soc- iables are to be commended for their hard work that they put into the Jamboree, and for the hospitality extended to everyone.
